About Me

My photo
Tobi Lopez Taylor
I'm a writer, rider, and anthropologist. I direct the Arizona Horse History Project and have "talked horses" with Linda Ronstadt, Bob Baffert, Major-General Jonathan Burton, Bazy Tankersley, and artist Rainbow Touraine, among others. At last count, I've authored three books involving Arabian horses: "The Polish and Russian Arabians of Ed Tweed's Brusally Ranch" (Screenfold Press, 2013); the award-winning "Orzel: Scottsdale's Legendary Arabian Stallion" (The History Press, 2016); and "A Riding Life: Memories, Dreams, Art, and Love" (with Shelley Groom Trevor; KDP, 2019). Watch this space for details about forthcoming books!
